::Clay Aiken, Taylor Hicks Coming To Cary From Raleigh Chronicle Staff & Wire Reports Thursday May 10, 2007 CARY - Triangle-area American Idol fans will be able to see two standouts from different seasons of the Fox show. Tickets are on sale at Cary's Koka Booth Amphitheatre for performances by Raleigh native Clay Aiken and more recent American Idol winner Taylor Hicks. Taylor Hicks, winner of the fifth season of American Idol, will be playing at the Cary amphitheatre on Thursday June 28th starting at 7:15pm. Tickets range from $33 to $49.50, depending upon where you sit and also a so-called "service fee" will be added to each ticket by TicketMaster. Tickets can be purchased for this show starting on Saturday, May 12th at 10am. Also, Raleigh's native son Clay Aiken will be performing at the Booth Amphitheatre on Friday August 10th at 8:30pm. The tickets for that show are already on sale, according to the city of Cary. Aiken is also hosting a charity auction for two premium tickets and the chance to meet him for a "meet and greet" after the show. The auction proceeds will benefit the Bubel-Aiken Foundation which helps children with learning disabilities. As of press time, the auction bid was at $970 for one ticket.
